A pile is basically a long cylindrical body made of concrete. Piles can be constructed on the ground by applying various types of methods. Bored piles are used for different purposes. They can be used in foundations to transmit huge structural loads into deeper soil strata as foundation piles. Bored piles can also be used to support deep excavation works like walls when they are constructed side by side as shoring piles.
